Have Questions? We’ve Got You Covered! 💖

✨ Can I Use It Everywhere?

Absolutely! 👌 You can use your Camelie Razor to shave everywhere.

✨How Long Does a Blade Last?

We recommend replacing the blade after 4 to 10 shaves.

✨ Why Is the Camelie Razor Better for My Skin?

Shaving with the Camelie razor helps reduce skin irritation, razor bumps, and ingrown hairs—common issues with disposable razors. The key benefit is that with the Camelie razor, only one high-quality blade touches your skin at a time, offering a precise and smooth shave.

Unlike the cheap single blades found in supermarket razors, which are often made of low-quality materials and don't offer the same sharpness, the Camelie razor uses a premium blade that provides a much smoother and more comfortable shave.

Multi-blade razors, on the other hand, often cause more harm than good. The blades cut the hair too close to the skin, sometimes below the surface, which can lead to the hair becoming trapped underneath. As it grows back, it can curl and become ingrown, causing painful bumps and irritation. Additionally, multi-blade razors tag and pull at the hair, further increasing the risk of irritation.

For example, with a 3-blade cartridge razor, if you go over the same area three times, you’re exposing your skin to 15 passes of a blade. In contrast, with the Camelie razor, each pass is with just one sharp, durable blade. The fewer times your skin is exposed to the blade, the less irritation you’ll experience, and the reduced risk of ingrown hairs leads to smoother, healthier skin.

✨ What’s the Best Order, Timing, and Method for Applying Your Serums?

Step 1: Strawberry Legs + Dark Spots Serum

  • When to Apply: Every night & a few hours or the night before shaving.
  • How to Use: Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin. This will exfoliate, prevent bumps, and help lighten dark spots.
  • Important: Avoid using this serum immediately after shaving—it’s meant for pre-shave use or as a nighttime treatment.

Step 2: Ingrown Hair Serum 2.0

  • When to Apply: Every night and after shaving.
  • How to Use: Gently apply a small amount to dry, clean skin.
  • Sensitive Skin Tip: If your skin feels irritated or sensitive after shaving, wait a few hours before applying, or skip it for the day to avoid irritation.

Step 3: Moisturizing After-Shave Oil

  • When to Apply: Every night and immediately after shaving.
  • How to Use: Apply a few drops to freshly shaved areas to calm your skin, lock in moisture, and leave your skin soft and hydrated.

✨ Does the Razor Rust?

The Camelie razor is made of high-quality brass, a material known for its resistance to rust. However, like any metal, it can be susceptible to corrosion if not properly cared for.

To ensure your razor lasts, we recommend keeping it clean, dry, and stored in a cool, dry place.

✨ Can I Cut Myself with This Razor?

While it's possible to cut yourself with any razor if not used properly, with just a little practice, you can easily avoid it.

Here’s how to shave safely and avoid cuts:

  • Pressure: Don’t apply pressure—let the weight of the razor glide gently over your skin.
  • Short Strokes: Use short strokes, only a few inches at a time, rinsing the razor in between.
  • Angle: Unlike disposable razors, our razor doesn’t have a pivoting head. You control the angle—aim for a 30-35 degree angle for the best results.
  • Take It Slow: When getting used to this new shaving technique, take your time and go slow.

✨ Adding the Blade

Unscrew the handle and remove the razor head.

Carefully place the blade between the top two pieces, ensuring the smooth, plain side faces the handle.

Screw the handle back on.

✨ How to Clean the Razor

After each use:

  • Rinse the razor under tap water, letting the water pressure clean out any hair, soap, or oil.
  • Open the razor to give it a thorough rinse.
  • Dry it completely and store it in a cool, dry place.

🚫 Do not store your razor in the shower to avoid moisture damage.

✨ How Long Does the Razor Last?

With proper care, your razor can last for MANY years—and even a lifetime!

✨ How Do I Dispose of the Blades?

Collect used blades in an old jar or tin. Once it’s full, you have options:

  • Contact your local council to find a recycling point for sharps.
  • Dispose of them in your recycling bin inside an aluminum can or tin.
  • Send them back to us—email info@getcamelie.com for details.

The Story Behind

For a long time, I struggled with ingrown hairs, razor burns, and bumps. It was really tough and made me feel self-conscious.

At that time, I would avoid wearing swimsuits or shorts at all costs. And my social life was sadly impacted by it

I tried lots of different products and spent a ton of money, but nothing seemed to work. Then, I decided to take things into my own hands and create a solution for myself.

I did a ton of research and talked to a professional to figure out a way to get a smooth shave without all the irritation and pain. When I finally got it right, I shared my products with my friends and family, and they were blown away by how well they worked. That’s when I knew I had to start a business to help other people who were struggling with the same issues.
